2. Press the Arming Button a red light comes on.

3. Aim for the center of the chest of the subject, if possible.

4. Fire — simply press down the Firing Button.

As a general rule,

One second of contact with the body will startle the attacker and cause some
pain and a minor muscular contraction.

Two seconds of contact with the body will be felt as a strong blow to the body
and is likely to cause brief muscle spasms and may initiate mental
disorientation.

Three seconds of contact with the body may cause a loss of balance and
mental confusion plus neuromuscular dysfunction, temporarily disabling the

EFFECTIVENESS ON ANIMALS

Never attempt to handle a subdued animal; this is a
job for an animal control officer or other professional.

The best defensive feature of the Arc Angel Stun Cane™ is the extended reach the
cane provides, helping to keep your hands and arms clear of an animal’s biting
range. The electrical aspect of the stun cane is also a defensive feature. If you are
uneasy about an approaching stray or unleashed dog approaching you, press the
Firing Button and air fire the cane a couple of times. In most cases the dog will be
startled by the sound of the air firing and back off or run away. If the dog gets close
and you feel that you are in danger, do not hesitate to firmly press the tip of the cane
onto any part of the animal you can safely reach while engaging the Firing Button.

Also, consider using the handle of the cane as a club. The shaft of the cane
extends your reach and the handle is a blunt object that can be used to hit or
push away an aggressive animal.

The sight, sound and distancing aspects of the stun cane can give you a tactical
advantage in an encounter with a hostile animal – the advantage is time to get
away and call for help.
